Hosted by landlord Alban, the pupils learnt about the many responsibilities involved in running a pub, from managing the business and looking after customers to working behind the bar.

The visit offered a valuable insight into the hospitality industry, helping pupils explore the range of skills needed in the workplace, including communication, teamwork, customer service and organisation.

From landlord duties to life behind the bar, the visit was a great opportunity for pupils to learn about careers beyond the classroom and discover what goes into keeping a local pub running.
