Marching Towards Success with Kevin Midmore

Careers Week
As part of Careers Week at Meadows School, students enjoyed an inspiring and hands-on session with Kevin Midmore, who shared his experiences of a career in the army.
Kevin spoke about the opportunities the army provides, including making lifelong friends, travelling the world, and pursuing hobbies. He engaged pupils with practical activities such as trying camo face paint, crawling under camouflage nets, and exploring his 4x4 truck, which had travelled to Ukraine to supply humanitarian aid.
Students were fascinated when Kevin showed his medals and gave each pupil a Victoria Cross keepsake, making the session memorable and personal. His talk highlighted the discipline, teamwork, and adventure that come with a career in the armed forces.
Thank you, Kevin, for sharing your experiences, inspiring our students, and showing how dedication and courage can lead to an extraordinary career!
